Talking Climate in Public Space (Vol 3, Issue 1)

This issue of the Indian magazine, Mausam, devoted to climate justice has articles on adaptation, the Climate Development Mechanism (CDM) and REDD projects.

It looks at how India is coping with climate change; provides a perspective from India on the UN's December 2011climate talks in Durban and describes some of the country's experiences with desertification. It has a special suppliement on India's "Carbon Forestry Programme" – described as fraud and "a formula for more land and resource grabbing".
